Clermont, FL doesn’t FEEL like Florida to me. It feels more like Michigan. For one, there are HILLS. This state is so flat, Clermont seems like a diamond in the rough for those who like hills and seeing vast landscapes. It also reminds me of Michigan because of all the little lakes. They are everywhere. After meeting my mother for lunch for Mother’s Day, I took my husband to Lake Minnehaha, to show him the little roadside park I featured in a previous post (check it out for more pictures). We came across two other little gems, Waterfront part on Lake Minneola and Johns Lake.
I found a beautiful flower at Lake Minnehaha. If anyone knows what it is, please let me know in the comments.
I thought we were going to a roadside park, but Waterfront Park on Lake Minneola turned out to be much more; including a white sandy beach for swimming, play areas, a splash park and more. Looks like a great place to bring your kids.
Johns Lake is a little lake tucked away in a residential area.
