Today’s new experiment was wood burning. A friend of mine knew I liked projects and got me a wood burning set! Very nice friend, huh? So after pondering what I was going to make I of course fell back on one of my favorites, Outlander. If you haven’t read the books and/or seen the show on Starz, you are missing out! If you only watch the show, I recommend reading the book. It is amazing! I am eagerly awaiting the 9th book in the series to come out.

So on to my project. Outlander Ornaments!!!

Now I’m not one to normally toot my own horn, but I am in love with how these turned out. I think I’m going to add some more icons into the mix next … but for now we have the standing stones at Craigh Na Dun and Dragonfly with the “Je Suis Prest” quote.
